Well here are the rest of the Hawaii pictures as promised & of course looking at these makes me wish spring was already here. I am really dying to get out on my motorcycle & cruise for hours.
Anyway...

The first set of pictures are from Manoa Falls.





Yes that is bamboo. There are times on the hike where you are completely surrounded by it.

After we hiked at Manoa Falls we drove around Oahu not sure of what to do & we stumbled upon Lanai Lookout. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole trip.
If you are a fan of LOST you might recognize Lanai Lookout. If you check out this site LOST Virtual Tour they compare clips of the movie to tourist pictures.

Kat & Cody 02.07.09

How weird is it that we will get a foot of snow on Tuesday & on Saturday have 55 degree temps? Well that's the Midwest for you.

Since we had such great weather we met up with Kat & Cody & went to Silver Beach in St. Joe, MI.

The following is quoted from Monica's blog...
We started on the pier which was very slushy and moved out to the shelf ice which can actually be very dangerous & I DO NOT advise venturing out on to. It was not scary at the time because it had not been thawing for more than 2 or 3 days. But in hindsight I cant believe we were so bold. So needless to say I doubt that we will be doing sessions like this regularly, if ever again. It might look solid, but the ice can be hollow sometimes & you can fall through and break yourself! The area we walked on was probably about 15 feet up off the natural sand bottom. I do have to say though that it looks pretty amazing!

So finally I have gotten around to sitting myself down & editing pictures from our Hawaii trip back in December.

Why is there a Jurassic Park sign do you ask? Well part of the movie was filmed at Kualoa Ranch. They have also had LOST & many other films & TV shows shot there.

Ashley & Brent 01.31.09

On Saturday we shot another awesome engagement session in Geneva, IL with Ashley & Brent. We started at the Wildwood Restaurant & from there we walked around downtown Geneva.

Ashley & Brent are big fans of board games & they brought along one of their favorites... Yahtzee!

























We had a blast shooting with Ashley & Brent & can't wait to shoot their wedding in September!
