Rockstar Taste Of Chaos Tour 03.12.09

This past Thursday I went into Chicago to shoot the Taste Of Chaos Tour at the Vic Theater. I don't shoot many big shows so not being allowed on the stage & not using a flash was a different experience for me. Either way I had a lot of fun, met some other cool photographers & ended up with some pretty cool shots.

Big ups to Mara over at I Surrender Records for getting me a photo pass to the show!

Red Rock Canyon 02.19.09

On our last day in Vegas we drove out to Red Rock Canyon to do a little bit of hiking and some shooting.
It was my first real time in any kind of desert & if the temperature would stay the 50-60 degrees it was that day all year round, living in the desert would not be to bad.

Kari 02.17.09

So WPPI & Vegas were a lot of fun. I really thought I would have done a lot more shooting than I did but between the trade show, platform classes & trying to find decent food we really did not have much time. On Tuesday though we met with up a bunch of photographers in the main lobby of the MGM Grand for a big shoot set up by Bob & Dawn Davis.
After everyone got ready all the photographers & models went over to New York New York and started shooting.

Hawaii 12.08.08

Well here are the rest of the Hawaii pictures as promised & of course looking at these makes me wish spring was already here. I am really dying to get out on my motorcycle & cruise for hours.
Anyway...

The first set of pictures are from Manoa Falls.

Yes that is bamboo. There are times on the hike where you are completely surrounded by it.

You can see the rest of the Manoa Falls pictures HERE.

After we hiked at Manoa Falls we drove around Oahu not sure of what to do & we stumbled upon Lanai Lookout. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole trip.
If you are a fan of LOST you might recognize Lanai Lookout. If you check out this site LOST Virtual Tour they compare clips of the movie to tourist pictures.
